Giggles at the Palace
Please check the Sticky Post to find the newest active part and post your prompts there.

  • Anon posting is not required, but most definitely allowed. If you think you recognise an anon, keep it to yourself and don’t out them. IP tracking is off, and will remain that way.

  • Multiple fills are encouraged, and all kinds of fills are accepted! Fic, art, vids, cosplay, interpretive dance — whatever. Go wild! :D

  • Don’t reprompt until TWO parts after the last posting of the prompt.

  • RPF (real person fic, i.e. fic involving the actors themselves) is not supported at this meme.

  • Concrit is welcome, but kinkshaming, hijacking, and flaming are not tolerated.

If possible, I'd love a Pokemon!AU inspired by this picture:

The detail and pairings are up to you!

Moriarty/Any OR OC, Moriarty/Sherlock, Relationships are like Math

Moriarty is a math professor, right? I'd like for his penchant for math to extend into other aspects of his life as well... most notably, his love-life.

Relationships are a simple mathematical equation. Both parties give fifty percent... certain angles in sex make it more/less pleasurable... statistically, first marriages almost always fail... etc. There is no reason to have love, when you can rely on fool-proof math.

But Sherlock challenges the very mathematical basis that Moriarty relies so heavily upon. He makes Moriarty *feel*, and that's not okay.

Basically, I'd just like to see Moriarty's logical mind playing tug-of-war with his heart.

S3 Spoilers - AU from 3.01 - John Emotional/Psychological H/C - Sherlock/John Mary/John

Mary met John after he was hospitalized for a psychotic break following the events of TRF. Turns out when he was very young, someone close to him (parent, sibling other than Harry, friend, etc.) died in front of him and he repressed the memory - for whatever reason he never received proper counseling and those around him thought it best he not remember and let it go.

Sherlock's "death" (which happened around the time they both realized they had more than just friendly feelings for each other) triggered him and either he regressed or possibly had an undiagnosed form of DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), or whatever, resulting in him adopting the personality of a very young child. Mary, one of his nurses, became fond of the child and as John's adult self re-emerged, grew to love the man.

[Spoilers for 3.01]In the restaurant scene, when she's asking Sherlock if he knew what he'd done, this is what she's referring to and is concerned Sherlock's crass, insensitive behavior might push John over the edge again.

Turns out, it takes being drugged and almost burned alive in a bonfire to achieve that.

She and Sherlock take care of him until the episode has passed. In the meanwhile, they get to know each other and realize exactly how much each of them loves/needs John and vice versa.

Sherlock and Mary come to an arrangement for "sharing" John that works for all parties.

Strong friendship between Sherlock & Mary, but no romantic involvement.

[Spoilers for all episodes]
The subway car scene either didn't happen at all or went much differently and Sherlock was not a first-rate jackass.

Do with the wedding what you will, but no pregnancy, please.

Mary's past can be like in canon (John's psychological issues being a prime reason she didn't want him to find out) or completely different, but no Sherlock shooting.

No "onscreen" het sex.

No bottom!Sherlock, sub!Sherlock or virgin!Sherlock.

No hard-core kinks (bdsm, scat, vore, etc.).

No killing John - everyone else is fair game.

No woobie!Sherlock or Sherlock h/c, please (though, angst and guilt over all the ways he's screwed up where John is concerned is always welcome). I'm just over all the poor!Sherlock stuff in the show lately and John constantly getting short-changed/having his legitimate feelings of hurt/betrayal being brushed aside/laughed off. I need the focus to be on John receiving some well-deserved TLC for a change.

Re: S3 Spoilers - AU from 3.01 - John Emotional/Psychological H/C - Sherlock/John Mary/John

I would love to read this, anon! I'm sick of woobie!Sherlock as well and would appreciate some John H/C.

Magnussen/Moriarty, Sherlock/Moriarty, Attempted Non-Con, Victim Shaming/Blaming

One of Sherlock's pressure points is Moriarty... but for a different reason then everyone suspects.

Sherlock has been harboring his fugitive-lover in the flat since his return, but upon returning from John's rehearsal dinner, he finds that he just... up and vanished into thin air.

Then, a live-feed comes up on his computer. Moriarty is naked, bound, gagged, and blindfolded, and at the complete mercy of Charles. He proceeds to attempt to rape Moriarty with Sherlock watching - he also hints heavily that this is not the first time (or the last) he intends to use Moriarty like this. He even has the gall to claim that Moriarty likes it.

Whether he lives through the encounter is up to anon, but I imagine the damage that Sherlock would inflict would be less than pleasant. Lots of fluffy comfort afterword, please!

post-TEH: Sherlock hearing John's voice/auditory hallucinations and scars

Spoilers for Season 3!

In light of the Season 3 I'd love to read a fic where we see more of:
- Sherlock hearing John's voice while thinking
- Sherlock's state of mind post-Serbia and during his post-Rechienbach time away from London
- The scars/injuries he's received

Bonus if it also includes John and Sherlock talking about it.

Re: post-TEH: Sherlock hearing John's voice/auditory hallucinations and scars

RTYI, but quite perfect. John and Sherlock talk about his scars.

Gen or Holmescest, Mycroft was a *Dreadful* Older Brother

Does anyone else see Mycroft's all-around obsession with Sherlock as him trying to make up for being an absolutely dreadful older brother when they were little?

I just want to see some Guilty!Mycroft as he remembers not helping Sherlock stand up to bullies, ordering him around, treating him like he didn't exist, etc. and trying to make up for it now, with Sherlock being set in his 'too little, too late' mind-set.

Re: Gen or Holmescest, Mycroft was a *Dreadful* Older Brother

I would love to read something along those lines

sherlock/moriarty, mind palace

Every time Sherlock is on the brink of death, he turns to Moriarty.

FILL: "Through the Gates of Eternity," Sherlock/Moriarty, TW for suicidal ideations and drugs

“Again, Sherlock? Really? What was it this time?”

“Oh. It’s you.”

“You sound surprised every time. This is your head, darling. My presence and appearance is contingent on you and you alone. I am,” Moriarty drawls, “utterly at your mercy.” He squirms slightly in his restraints, mouth tipping up and eyes gleaming fiendishly.

Sherlock wrinkles his nose, frowning down at him. “Your indelicacy, as ever, bores me.”

“No, it doesn’t.”

Sherlock smirks, nearly imperceptibly, but Moriarty sees. Moriarty always sees. “Your living conditions are deplorable,” he notes, sitting down next to him.

“Again. Your head.” Moriarty eyes him with that same intensity that filled Sherlock with the most exquisite of dreads back when they were both still alive; back when Moriarty was flesh, blood, corporeal and real, still draped in that enticing illusion of attainability that had once made Sherlock tremble at the mere shadow of his voice. Well done, you. Come and get me. Sherlock remembers that first game well. “You’re being awfully quiet,” Moriarty interrupts. “What’s going through that magnificent brain of yours?”

“Don’t act like you don’t know.”

Moriarty smiles, delighted. “You chained me up, locked me away in this abhorred pit, and still I elude you.”

“Why did you want to die?”

“I told you. You know, you’ve always known. That’s why you’re here. That’s why you come to me, of all people, every time. I wanted to die because you want to die. I saw that. No one else.”

Sherlock remains quiet.

“So what was it this time?” Moriarty continues. “You’re far calmer than usual. Have you finally embraced the truth you’ve been running from all this time? Are you finally going to stay with me?”

“I’m not sure. It was drugs, I think. John…”

Moriarty interrupts with a hiss. “You and the John. Every time. John, John, John…”

“No, I think…I think that’s done.” He expects the sentence to hurt, but everything is numbing out. Right. Of course. Dying.

“Poor Sherlock,” Moriarty mocks, “left all alone, wedged away from the merry familial band of Watsons. Honestly, did you not see that coming?”

“Of course I did. I see everything.”

Moriarty snickers. “I like you most when you’re petulant.”

“So,” Moriarty whispers, “are you staying?” The menace in his voice can’t quite conceal the wavering hope that lurks beneath it, and oh, Sherlock has missed being needed.

“Yes. Yes, I think so.”

Moriarty drops his forehead onto Sherlock’s shoulder. “Oh, thank you, thank you, Sherlock Holmes,” he exhales, “thank you, thank you…”

Sherlock makes quiet work of untying the restraints, grasping one of Moriarty’s freshly freed hands in his own. Moriarty closes his eyes with a soft intake of breath, squeezing tighter. Sherlock remembers the rooftop, the pool; ends and beginnings.

“I made a promise, remember?”

Moriarty looks up, eyes watery. “Me, you. Hands, hell. Of course I do.”

Sherlock lifts his other hand to his face, leans in -- come and get me -- and all goes white.

Drunken Sherlock (Spoiler warnings for TSoT?)

I can't believe there's not been a bunch of these types of prompts!

Sherlock gets drunk with John because they get rather... cuddly with each other when inebriated. And it gives Sherlock something to blame once he's sober.

But one night he gets a lot more drunk than John, and he cuddles and he rambles, and in the morning he hardly remembers any of it. But John does. And it was all very enlightening.

Happy ending with John/Sherlock, please! Please feel free to be inspired by the drunken antics of Sherlock in The Sign of Three, or to go the melancholy route if you like.

John just leaves

John is a resourceful man, has some connections, and is a doctor. Pretty sure with being Sherlock's roomie he would have some saved up money and its not like he wouldn't know how to travel light.

Lets get something happening to him and him finally snapping and being "Fuck it" and just...leaving. He is not running away. Its more like the positives no longer outweighed the negatives and something or someone said words that convinced him leaving would be best for him. So he does. Because soldiers know when a retreat is the best option.

Re: John just leaves

Yes please :)

Moriarty/Mycroft noncon, mindfucky villain-lecture in lieu of dirty talk

...extreme bonus points if Jim acts like he should be grateful/like Mycroft's the one coming on to him. Can take place pre-series, if you like.

Re: Moriarty/Mycroft noncon, mindfucky villain-lecture in lieu of dirty talk

There is NOTHING in the entire post 34 that I want to see filled more than this prompt.

Damn, I miss my dysfunctional OTP... So ***ing much!

Gen or Johnlock, Sherlock Makes the Best-Dressed List

Sherlock has risen to the ranks of celebrity thanks to John's blog, and has claimed a spot on Vanity Fair's International Best Dressed List.

Sherlock is not amused.

Sherlock/Moriarty, High School AU, Suicidal!Moriarty, TW: Suicide Attempt

Teenage!Jim is a brilliant mathematician, but far from a social butterfly. His only *real* friend is Sherlock (who also happens to be his boyfriend), but when Sherlock accidentally presents like he's breaking up with him, Moriarty is done.

He tries to jump off the roof - Sherlock talks him down.

Johnlock, Semi-Somniphilia, 3.01

John realizes that a drugged, half-asleep Sherlock is too tempting to resist. He takes Sherlock, who is barely awake, and then scrambles b/c he feels awful for what he's done.

Sherlock doesn't understand what all the fuss is about, b/c he was totally consenting and has wanted this for a long time.

Re: Johnlock, Semi-Somniphilia, 3.01

Small HLV Spoiler Magnussen/Sherlock "I've been thinking about you"

Small HLV spoiler.

That scene with Magnussen and Sherlock saying, "I've been thinking about you."

Make something out of that. I'm surprised no one asked for that yet.

"Stayin' Alive" always has to be playing when they have sex.
