Fan art prompt: Sherlock wearing men's cashmere mini dress (see link)

I just saw this: Dare to Wear: Men’s Cashmere Mini Dress and immediately thought, "Benedict could totally pull this off." Soooo... any fan artist feel inspired to make a photo manip/drawing/painting of Sherlock wearing something like that? Pwetty pwease with a skull on top?! :) I'm sure John would appreciate the view passively or actively. *cough* Of course, if any of you writers feel inspired, don't hold back either!

(Full disclosure: Also prompted over at the sherlockbbc community Monday Prompts post, but since things are very slow over there, I thought I'd post here too. I hope that's okay.)

John/Sherlock. Past John/Mary. Wedding.

(Anonymous)
John and Mary divorce, but become friends (maybe not right away, but maybe they part on friendly terms from the start, it's up to you). They share friendship and custody of their little girl.

Next time John is getting married, it is to Sherlock... With Mary as his best (wo)man. She's happy for John and wants him to have a great wedding, so she makes sure of it. Lestrade can be Sherlock's best man. And Janine can be Sherlock's bride's (or rather groom's) maid and is amused about it.

A secular wedding is highly preferable.

Bonus: Sherlock is a drama queen, as John has established, and even more so during his own wedding. He's nervous and maybe it shows.

MorMor, Sebastian keeps contact to his family

(Anonymous)
Sebastian is still on very good terms with his family, or at least parts of it, although they don't know he's a murderous criminal. Jim finds the insistence on Christmas dinners at home so peculiar for a man like Sebastian he agrees to play along to meet the parents(/siblings/grandparents).

(Mycroft says: phone home; stop reading my prompts, Mycroft)

AU: Sherlock is a reference librarian

(Anonymous)
I don't even know where I'd go with this, but I love the mental image of Sherlock abusing everyone who doesn't know the dewey decimal system or has stupid research questions.

Re: AU: Sherlock is a reference librarian

(Anonymous)
Oh my God. Someone please do this.

Lawyer AU

(Anonymous)
I just love the image of Sherlock becoming a lawyer instead of a consulting detective. Up to the prompted how this came about. John can be another lawyer(AU meeting with Mike Stamford taking a different role???) or a client. Take the idea and run with it, add as many characters as you like.

Sebastian kills himself after the Fall. Jim watches it the whole time.

(Anonymous)
Okay, so I know it's been done a lot of times but I've never seen it from Jim's POV. Basically, Jim monitors Seb and watches him break down and kill himself.

BONUS POINTS: His breakdown takes a long time..

TRIPLE BONUS POINTS: Seb's been battling depression on and off his entire life and Jim knows he's 'risky'.

John dies because of Sherlock. Sherlock hires Mary to kill him. Angst. Suicide. PossibleTorture.

(Anonymous)
Sherlock gets himself into a dangerous game, but, hey, it's a mystery! He becomes careless, only wishing to solve the mystery despite the risks. His carelessness nearly costs him his life, but, instead of him, it's John who dies in order to protect him.

Sherlock is in denial and then devastated for a long time. He realises that, whatever he does, he can't cope. Nothing is interesting anymore. Not only John is dead, but Sherlock is the one to blame, because it could've been avoided. But there's no turning back, no time machine, no 'undo' button. Sherlock had been away for two years, thinking he was protecting John, only to lose him some time later, just because Sherlock was too intrigued by a case. Bonus points if Sherlock was in love with John. Buckets of angst are totally welcome.

He knows that Mary hates him now. She'll never see her husband again, and her little girl will never see her daddy again, either.

Sherlock hires Mary to kill him. Maybe at first she refuses, but somehow he convinces her. Maybe she agrees partly out of pity, but he can also offer her something she needs to stay safe. Maybe he asks her to kill him slowly (he has seen the memory stick and knows what she's capable of), so it's not just a suicide, but a self-punishment, too. But I don't mind if he wants a quick, quiet death. He makes sure no harm will come to her for killing him (incl. from Mycroft).

They pick a day. Sherlock gets himself presentable, finishes some old cases, visits John's grave, has his last dinner (I don't mind if it's a quiet dinner with Mary).

And then Mary does her job. She's good at it, as usual. Everything's welcome, even an extreme torture. Mary sticks to their plan even if he asks her to, please, finally kill him when the pain gets just too much (if he wanted to be killed slowly, of course). She knows how to keep him alive for as long as it's required, according to their agreement.

My Fair Lady AU (Mystrade)

(Anonymous)
(only basic knowledge of the play/musical required, possibly not even that)

Mycroft and his posh (uni?) friends discuss the importance of proper upbringing and behaviour, and how without the right manners and right way of speaking, one can't expect to do well in life. One of them says something about it all being a case of being born in the right family, the other that it's all a case of proper training and he'd be able to train any person their age to act like one of them within few months.

One thing leads to the other and the bet is made. They're gonna test this theory with one Greg Lestrade, the boy around their age, who lives in town and is as far from high class as one could probably get. Mycroft and one of his peers, who advocated for it all being the case of training, will make Greg into a gentleman before the ending of the semester and introduce him in some high class party, and they will win the bet, if everyone is fooled into believing that Greg is as posh as any other attendant.

On the way, of course, Mycroft starts to find Greg far more fascinating than he expected and between his blooming feelings and Greg's final rebelion against being a performing monkey, things get kinda complicated. And far more interesting.

tl;dr: Mycroft trains Greg to pass as posh gentleman. And falls for him, while he's at it.

BONUS POINTS:

- Sherlock helping/being one of the first to judge Greg's progress,
- The influence not being one sided and Greg changing Mycroft as well in some ways,
- If you use any of the Grègoire Dante Lestrade's headcanons (here, have a link (http://protect-victortrevor.tumblr.com/post/93615343134/greg-being-half-spanish-and-half-french))

Re: My Fair Lady AU (Mystrade)

(Anonymous)
Don't do this to me man, I absolutely adore My Fair Lady. I'm going to have to write this now oh god. I'll keep you posted.

Mycroft has a secret boyfriend.

(Anonymous)
who works at a military abortion clinic.

Re: Mycroft has a secret boyfriend.

(Anonymous)
How does he react when his boyfriend ends up dead? D:

(we are talking about Harry, aren't we? If not, ignore this anon.)

John/Sherlock. Sherlock makes a mistake. Angst. Pining Sherlock.

(Anonymous)
One day Sherlock suddenly deduces that John is in love with him. It makes Sherlock feel scared, intrigued, flattered; everything at once.

He keeps believing it for some time, but it turns out he was wrong. While John loves him as a friend, he's not in love with him. Sherlock just saw what he wanted to see. A big, sad heartbreak, please.

I don't mind happy John/Sherlock in the end, but not because John was in denial when Sherlock had made that wrong (actually wrong) deduction about John's feelings.

John/Sherlock, Anthea/John. Jealous!Sherlock throws a tantrum.

(Anonymous)
Sherlock is secretly mooning over John. He hates all of John's girlfriends. When John starts dating Anthea and it seems serious between them, it's just too much for Sherlock.

He breaks into Mycroft's office (maybe there's a serious international meeting taking part there) and throws an epic tantrum, because everything is always Mycroft's fault and Anthea is Mycroft's minion and Mycroft, obviously, can't look after his minions. Either that or it's Mycroft's plan to take John away from Sherlock.

Reactions? (I just can't stop seeing dropped jaws and stunned people) Idk, maybe Mycroft is shocked and somewhat worried, because Sherlock is having a breakdown, but maybe he's a bit smug, too, because not only Sherlock is mistaken (because Mycroft has nothing to do with Anthea/John), but Sherlock + emotions = disaster, lack of logic and so on, as he has always known.

Mycroft says: "Yes, ma'am". O____o

Re: John/Sherlock, Anthea/John. Jealous!Sherlock throws a tantrum.

(Anonymous)
Yes! SECONDING LIKE WOAH.

John/Sherlock. WarTrophy!Sherlock. Virgin!Sherlock. Possible some Dub-Con. AU.

(Anonymous)
An AU with a civil war. Sherlock is captured by some enemy soldier. Sherlock is good-looking and, likely, a virgin, so the soldier gives him as a gift to his captain back in their base.

John likes the gift a lot (maybe he doesn't really feel comfortable about a human being given to someone as a gift, but maybe it's not really uncommon in this world). Maybe Sherlock is hurt and John, as a doctor he is, heals him. Eventually, he has sex with Sherlock (I prefer no non-con, but some dubious consent at first is acceptable).

John wants peace, and when he learns that Sherlock is Mycroft's brother (Mycroft can be an official leader), he somehow uses Sherlock to achieve it (maybe against his own leader), preferably with him and Sherlock staying together and doing what they do best - solving problems.

I'm totally okay with an A/B/O Verse with Omega!Sherlock and Alpha!John or D/S Verse with Dom!John and Sub!Sherlock.

Just give me Sherlock as John's prisoner and war trophy, please! :)

On Mycroft's 'OCD'

(Anonymous)
Mycroft doesn't have OCD, he merely makes everything perfectly so Sherlock's mind can be quiet.

When Sherlock and Mycroft met others when Sherlock was 5 or something, and entered the real world instead of their isolation as young children, Sherlock could not handle the information. There was far too much of it, and it was loud in his ears, he couldn't focus on anything else and Sherlock took to saying most of the things he saw, and alienated him from others by doing so.

When they return home, Mycroft made everything spotless, particularly in his room, so Sherlock's mind was at ease. When Sherlock had nightmares of the loud deductions and the fact that no-one else saw them save for Mycroft, he would go into Mycroft's room and curled up beside him and everything was quiet. Mycroft's 'OCD' was for Sherlock.

Then one day, before Sherlock goes east for his missions, Sherlock slips into Mycroft's home and curls up beside him, and Mycroft comforts him. Sherlock leaves before dawn, and they never speak of it again.

Can be platonic brotherly fluff or Holmescest, I do not mind. :)

Re: On Mycroft's 'OCD'

(Anonymous)
I have no words to describe how much I want this.

(*eyes narrow* 'know your rights' Mycroft, how do you know I've been studying Human Rights at Uni...)

Gen, Vampire!Sherlock is way older than his childe BigBrother!Mycroft

(Anonymous)
When Sherlock turned Mycroft he'd already spent centuries being undead, which can be traumatising. Maybe he observed that Mycroft could be steady as a rock through the ages and turned him because he needed that sort of security and protection.
So basically... I'm looking for some Sherlock angst and big brother Mycroft eventhough he's way younger than Sherlock.
Write whatever you want, Mycroft being turned and meeting this seemingly young man who's a bit/lot dehumanised, or modern times when both have been undead for centuries and someone finds out... whatevs.

No immortal!Moriarty or Moriarty slash, please.
Thank you!

Extremely inexperienced Sherlock

like, even kissing makes him cum in his pants with a whimper (Whimpering is super important lol). Anything to do with wet dreams, premature ejac and coming in pants would be massively appreciated.

Would prefer Sherlock x John, Mycroft or Greg please!

Re: Extremely inexperienced Sherlock

(Anonymous)
yes, please!

Mormor - top moriarty

(Anonymous)
Because I can never get enough MorMor,and it's so hard to find fic where Moriarty isn't the bottom.

Give me anything with MorMor with Moriarty as the top. I don't care if it's because of past trauma, just his preference, whatever.

Sibling feels with no incest, Mycroft's anger is terrifying

(Anonymous)
I'd love to see Mycroft being a protective big brother, with no incest text or subtext please. Someone's taken an unhealthy, prurient interest in young!sherlock, and youngish!Mycroft notices and puts a quick and brutal stop to it.

RTYI?

Mycroft/moriarty

(Anonymous)
I don't care how, when, or why, I don't care if it's consensual or not, just give me Mycroft and Moriarty having sex.

Re: Mycroft/moriarty

(Anonymous)
I...may have an idea for this

Re: Mycroft/moriarty (Anonymous) Expand

Moran/anyone noncon

(Anonymous)
Moriarty decides to teach someone a lesson. However, he doesn't do it personally. He has Moran do it.

Character death - Mary dies in childbirth

(Anonymous)
In the old books they never say how Mary dies, but it's a commonly accepted idea that she died in childbirth. I'd like to see an updated version of this. I want Mary dying in childbirth, and a distraught John keeping vigil by the incubator his daughter is in for days. Sherlock and Mycroft don't know what to do. (It's up to you if the baby survives or not.) I want ANGST CITY.

Mycroft/CAM vampire AU

(Anonymous)
Charles Augustus Magnussen and Mycroft Holmes have known each other for a very long time, and just as long vampire!CAM has been trying to lure him into his coven - unsuccessfully, of course. To complete the transformation a new fledgling has to be willing and Mycroft is anything but; even now he is barely able to resist the creature's attempts to seduce and control him, but if Magnussen were to claim him as his sire... Mycroft would be bound to him for all eternity.

The only problem is, now that CAM has Sherlock (who is completely unaware that vampires even exist) under his thumb, Mycroft may no longer have a choice in the matter. Not if he wants to keep his brother safe.

BONUS if you feel like it
When Mycroft was younger he did have a short affair with Magnussen - before he realized his anemia and memory gaps were not coincidental.

John/Sherlock. Sherlock is seriously ill, John becomes his doctor. Hurt/Comfort.

(Anonymous)
After Afghanistan John manages to put himself together and finds some old connections that help him to be a surgeon again. He's great at it anyway, and the danger of losing a patient is sufficient enough for his hands to be steady.

Sherlock is used to neglecting his own health. At first he tries to ignore migraines; when it becomes difficult, he starts taking painkillers and just goes on with his life and cases. Eventually, it gets worse, he starts having fainting fits, problems with speech or movements. One day he has it really bad and Mrs Hudson (or Lestrade) calls an ambulance. Sherlock ends up in a hospital, where he meets John for the first time. John becomes his doctor. When Sherlock's brain scans show a tumour, John is the one who's going to have to remove it.

There's probably a couple of weeks (or more) before the surgery. Sherlock stays in hospital, while he and John become friends. One day Sherlock nearly runs away for an interesting case, but John can't allow it..., so he goes with Sherlock to look after him and then get him back to hospital safely.

Maybe at first Mycroft wants Sherlock to be operated by some famous surgeon, but decides against it, seeing how much it is important for Sherlock to be taken care of by John (well, Mycroft, controlling as he is, can still involve that famous surgeon, just as an assistant to John).

Maybe John is very worried before the surgery, because now he's very much emotionally involved with his patient and he just can't lose him. Maybe the risk of losing Sherlock is very high to boot.

I'd love Sherlock to survive, but I don't mind if he doesn't (as long as it's not John's fault).

But if he survives, I'd love John to take care of him. Maybe Sherlock is very upset and panicked, because he can't be immediately okay after the surgery. Maybe he can't speak properly and otherwise thinks he's become disabled for good, and it's John's job to make his recovery as comfortable as possible. Hurt/comfort rocks.

Re: John/Sherlock. Sherlock is seriously ill, John becomes his doctor. Hurt/Comfort.

(Anonymous)
I WANT THIS

John-centric, Mycroft or Moriarty meets John first

(Anonymous)
John didn't meet Mike Stamford and so has never heard of Sherlock Holmes in his life. Instead, he somehow caught the interest of either Mycroft or Moriarty (author's choice), who wants to use John as an asset. With his sheer appreciation for genius and fluffy badassery, he manages to win his new employer over.
How does this change John? And more importantly: how will it influence Mycrofts/Moriartys behaviour and plans?

Everything would be great, from crack where John becomes Mycrofts snarky-but-effective secretary and them having sassy fights over tea, to Jim trying to manipulate his new doctor into showing off his incredible marksmanship and becoming his assassin/bodyguard, or anything you can come up with :)

If you want to use pairings, I would find Mycroft/John (or John/Moriarty) very interesting with their changed relationship, but Gen or other pairings would be perfectly alright. I'd like the focus of the story to be on the changes that meeting a different person would bring to their lives, though.

John/Jim, Jim wasn't -Mollys- fake boyfriend

(Anonymous)
Jim is a great actor, we all know that, and he doesn't go about things the "boring" way. So why did he pretend to be Mollys boyfriend to get close to Sherlock, when she isn't the closest person to him and way too easy to manipulate?

In this verse, he didn't. Instead, he meticulously planned every detail, crafted his persona perfectly and then... went for John Watson.
I'm talking full-on wooing, pretending to be friends, going on coffee dates together, over months slowly worming his way into Johns heart and mind.
They're the cute happy couple that sits in a restaurant and hold hands, smiling at each other for 2 hours. They watch TV and fall asleep cuddling on the sofa. Pull no punches, because they're ridiculous and sappy and everyone is sick of them because they're so cute.
I like to think it was all about Sherlock in the beginning, but then Jims plans start revolving more and more around his Doctor.

Sooo... what happens then? Was it all just a sick game and Jim betrays John in the worst ways possible? Does Jim try to subtly estrange John from his best friend, "burning the heart" out of Sherlock in quite a different way? Or did John get under his skin, making Jim want to keep up this illusion forever?

(my shipper heart wants a happy end, but I'll leave that up entirely to the author :)

Moriarty is Artemis Fowl.

(Anonymous)
"Kid thinks he's Sherlock Holmes,"
"That's professor Moriarty,"

What if he was?

Please, please, I need a fic where Artemis Fowl is actually Jim Moriarty. Maybe his brain was messed up after regeneration, or he became good then his family was killed and he turned evil in the process of avenging them, maybe he was just bored. Doesn't matter. Sebastian Moran is compulsory. Sherlock's involvement is entirely up to the author and Seb can't know about his past beforehand.

BONUS POINTS: Sebastian actually met Artemis when he was a little kid and Artemis was older because it was before his age was fucked up. Jim remembers it. Sebastian doesn't.

TRIPLE BONUS POINTS: It was why he hired him.
